Jesus, that ultimate physician who healed many, implored the necessity of faith in order for good outcomes to occur. “Your faith has made you whole,” he repeated time and time again, emphasizing the fact that faith was the key ingredient in our healing. In other words, Faith is the means of becoming whole.
If Faith is the basis of one’s healing, from where do we secure it? From where does it come?
Faith is the full comprehension of God’s infinite Goodness, and the deep acknowledgement of His tender, all encompassing care for us. Faith is hatched and nurtured from the full appreciation of this absolute truth that God loves us greatly. This fact was proven, unequivocally in our redemption wrought by Christ Jesus on Calvary’s tree (Romans 5:8). Also, the Bible states that Christ is the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
The goodness and providence of God, and in Christ, must follow the seizing of, and acting upon this stupendous truth. It is for this reason that we are able to cast our care on God (1 Peter 5:7). It is also the reason that we can depend on Him, trust in Him and hope in Him. Lastly, It is the reason why in our cancer we can glorify God. In this lies the peace, the confidence and the comfort that passes all understanding (Phil 4:7).
At Paideia Oncology Care, we not only embrace faith. Even more importantly, we exemplify that faith is the central core, the engine of our cancer treatment program.
